sadness

a kid from my school committed suicide. he was 23. we werent very close but acquaintances back in middle/high school. He wrote this as his status on facebook


to all my friends and family. I have lost hope in this world and thank you all for the good times we have shared. I hope at one point I made you laugh when you were crying and brought you hope when it seemed there was no hope left. I will miss all my friends and especially my family to whom I say I am sorry...goodbye

My heart goes out to him and his family. It is crazy to think how fragile life can be. Its also crazy to think what the our generation has relegated to. our suicide notes are now posted on FB? Its sad with the social world at one's fingertips and limitless connections, he felt so alone that he lost all hope to the point of no consolation.

Pray for those in need and if you need help don't hesitate to ask someone...anyone.
