The truth about success

It is a mistake to suppose that we succeed through accomplishments; we much more often succeed through failures. Advice, awards, and/or achievements can never teach us as well as failure does. And though this may be, as a society we are not willing to give failure a second opportunity. I, as well as many others, hate to lose. No one likes to come in second place when 1st is within grasp. Not many of us would allow the bitter taste of defeat a second opportunity to inflict its worst. We fail once and its over and many tend to be content with this. This bitter pill is one that few are willing to swallow twice.

It’s human nature to fail. Without failure, success would not longer be viewed as a gratifying triumph but a trivial affair. Thomas Edison said that “Many of life’s failure are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” One step is the distinction from insignificance and greatness, a step that is often not made. If you are willing to accept failure and learn from it… if you are willing to consider failure to be a blessing in disguise and bounce back, If you are able to swallow the pill of defeat but keep on coming… Only then will you be able to achieve and relish the true level of success.

One more thing. Make no excuses...

When you believe in something, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably. You should not half ass anything you do. People spend too much time finding other people to blame, too much energy finding excuses for being what they are and not what they are capable of. People do not invest enough energy when putting themselves on the line. Learn to grow out of the past and get on with your life.
no excuses
